Artist Bio

Hello! I am an artist and illustrator originally from Northumberland in the UK, now living in rural New Zealand. My journey to becoming an artist has been a winding one, since childhood I have found joy in creating art, however this took the back burner while I studied biology, During the first lockdown I began doodling again to fill up time, and that doodling filled me with such inspiration that i have worked to build my passion into a career. I illustrated my first book in 2021 with Mary Egan publishing (Queen of muck by Isaac Thackray) this helped me find the perfect way to explore creativity, colour and my passion for nature.

I strive to tell stories using paint and colour, and if I can bring joy and smiles to people then I consider my job done!
